Found on a market stall yesterday: among the old newspapers, a special, 1937 Coronation (George VI) Edition of The Times.
Inside it I came across this advertisement: a (1936) silver Aristocrat priced at what was then a hefty 15 shillings. It wasn't called a #15 at that stage.
I have seen one or two advertisements for this particular razor, but not this particular one. I thought it uniquely interesting. Note the centre bar has no 'wings', and also the lame "crowning achievement" pun... ha ha indeed.
Enjoy.
