Vintage Open Comb Razor Dangers!

A few months ago I fell into this nasty habit of collecting/using D.E. razors. I thought I could quit any time I wanted to… but that does not appear to be the case. I now have more razors, brushes, blades, and such than any man could need.


I have tried the razors on the back two rows with my favorites being (in order) the Rockwell 6S, Pre-War Tech with Fat Handle, and the Slim. I am going to attack the first two rows but have a bit of concern regarding the open comb razors on the first row. Any thoughts/techniques on engaging vintage open comb razors? Thanks.
