These are the current top 4 razors in my rotation right now. After acquiring around 20 razors and switching preferences from straight bar, slant head, open comb, and adjustable, I find right now these are the 4 I enjoy using the most and get great, consistent shaves from. Interestingly enough, 2 cost around $130 and the other 2 cost around $30. While the $130 razors are amazing in terms of construction, finish, materials, and are machined in the USA, that's not to say the Asian razors are at all bad. They're not. Yes they use cheaper material, labor, etc. But the finishes aren't terrible (though on my other Yaqi the color started to wear off after just a few months), they look quite good and they do shave very good. It just shows you don't have to go broke to achieve a nice, close, and comfortable shave. As long as you have a solid pre-shave routine, good technique, a sharp blade and a quality soap or cream, you're good to go!
